Accenture launches innovation center to connect startups and corporations in Chile

Bridge is a new workspace in the Vitacura neighborhood of Santiago, Chile that seeks to connect startups and large corporations to open the dialogue about innovation. The collaborative workspace opened on May 7th and will provide spaces for workshops and meetings between industry leaders and small disruptors.

The space is sponsored by Accenture in partnership with Chilean co-working chain CoWork Latam and also receives backing from Start-Up Chile and MIT. Bridge is meant to provide a physical space for entrepreneurs and corporations to meet and come up with creative solutions to common problems.

The new space even has a specific area for technology companies that are developing a B2B business model. Says Tomás Sánchez, director of Innovation for Accenture Chile:

“Bridge is not an accelerator, but rather it is a space where different actors can meet to add value through collaboration. There will not be an acceleration program, but there will be a space that will provide startups with content, connections, knowledge, and networks.”

The initiative is 100% privately funded. Bridge seeks to connect corporations to the emerging startups that are solving their problems to improve outcomes for both parties.
