Colombia’s Leal raises $3M

LatAm List –  Leal has just raised $3M from FCP Ventures and an anonymous contributor. The Colombian startup provides a network of loyalty programs with more than one million users linked to more than 450 brands with +1,500 points of sale. Leal plans to use this investment to expand into Panama, Guatemala, El Salvador, and Mexico.

Leal was founded three years ago by Florence Frech and Camilo Martínez, winners of Startup Colombia 2017. Through their platform, users can accumulate points in exchange for prizes and benefits. On the other end, Leal provides its brands with data to improve consumer interactions and increase sales.

“By integrating our platform with the brands’ billing systems, we have the ability to capture transactions and convert them into powerful analytics,” explain the founders of Leal.

Their platform has 15 categories including restaurants, gas stations, and retail. In Colombia, Leal is available in 175 municipalities and has received over 16K new clients in the last 30 days.
