E-Commerce leader Jumpseller acquires HandyCommerce

LatAm ListJumpseller, a leader in e-Commerce in Latin America, recently acquired Handy Commerce, a Colombian startup that also provides e-Commerce solutions.

The Portuguese platform participated in Start-Up Chile’s first generation in 2010, and maintained yearly growth of +100% by allowing small businesses to create an online store to sell their products at a global scale.

“Thanks to the positive feedback we’ve received from our Colombian clients and knowing that there is a growing demand for quality service, we’ve decided to bet on Colombia and work towards being the country’s leading platform,” said Tiago Matos, Jumpseller’s co-founder.

Jumpseller will seek e-Commerce solutions for its businesses working alongside integrated partnerships, as it does in Chile with MercadoLibre, Transbank, Chilexpress, and Correos de Chile, among others.

“I’m excited to announce this agreement with Jumpseller as we consider it the option that best adapts to the needs of our clients and to the Colombian market,” said James Osorio, Handy Commerce’s CEO.
