Raízen, Brazilian licensee of Shell, partners with Waze

LatAm List – Brazil’s Raízen has announced their new partnership with the popular navigation application, Waze. The two companies’ apps will now work together.

Waze’s Loyalty Targeting advertising strategy increased Shell station traffic by 178% in 2018. Moving forward, Waze users in Brazil can expect a more innovative experience.

Drivers will be able to make their payments and view any live offers without leaving the navigation platform.

“It is a great pleasure to have this partnership with Shell, which brings Brazilian users a smoother experience at the time of purchase. Waze is the world’s largest social-browsing application, with more than 115 million monthly active users, and Brazil is one of the app’s main audiences- there are more than 6.2 million users only in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro,” explained André Loureiro, General Director of Waze for Latin America.
