Didi Chuxing enters Chile and Colombia

LatAm ListDidi Chuxing, a Chinese mobile ridesharing platform, is more than doubling its Latin American presence by entering major cities Valparaiso and Bogata. A year ago, Didi acquired 99, a ridesharing company in Brazil.

Mi Yang, Didi’s Head of Operations in Latin America, called Chile and Colombia “two important centers of growth and innovation in the region,” in a statement made to TechCrunch.

Didi is already operating in Mexico and Brazil and plans to continue expanding.
