LatAm List – Mexican online bank, BBVA, is making their banking services available on a third-party application for the first time. The bank is partnering with Uber to provide unbanked drivers access to an account. According to Carlos LĆ³pez-Moctezuma, the Head of Open Banking at BBVA:
āWe are bringing the bank to our partner, who in turn is bringing us to their drivers and delivery partners, so that they can take advantage of all the benefits that the bank has to offer, all with a single click,ā as quoted in Finextra.Ā
