IBM partners with entrepreneurial students from São Paulo

LatAm List – Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas, or PCU-Campinas, is a Brazilian University in São Paulo. The first Innovation and Entrepreneurship Show on campus allowed students to showcase their work to tech giant, IBM.

IBM selected five projects, allocated 12 weeks of preparation-time and assigned them each a professional mentor.

According to Tomas Guner Sniker, a professor and one of the coordinators of PUC-Empreende, “The initiative helps students to improve, in a practical way, technical and human skills related to product development and business management.”

The projects are: Easy!, StartLegal, RegioNow, Ways and Stefa.
