Puerto Rico’s accelerator, Parallel18, partners with Google Developers Launchpad

LatAm ListParallel18 is a government-funded accelerator in Puerto Rico that provides startups with $40K equity-free funding and five months of work space in San Juan to help them grow their startups. In two years, P18 has funded over 200 startups from across the globe, helping connect Latin America to the US startup ecosystem.

The accelerator recently announced that it would become one of the regional partners for Google Developers Launchpad, a a branch of Google that operates a global acceleration program to support startups. Google partners with accelerators outside of Silicon Valley to grow ecosystems in smaller hubs.

The partnership will allow Parallel18 to access a network of global accelerators and leverage their resources for P18 entrepreneurs.
