AoCubo raises $235K from Viva Real co-founders

LatAm ListAoCubo, a digital real estate brokerage platform, has raised $235K from private investors including Simon Baker and Brian Requarth, the co-founders of the Brazilian real estate platform Viva Real. The funds represent the first investment for AoCubo.

AoCubo is a real estate brokerage founded by Thais Cancian, Ronnie Sang Jr, and Luiz Perna. The startup aims to improve the disorganized and slow purchasing experience of the real estate sector with smart technology and robots to manage the process.

The startup uses a semi-automated service, where robots start the conversation with a customer and determine the basics, such as their property interests and budget. The AoCubo app also lists properties, and the Uber-like iBroker platform matches each client with the right agent.

Currently, AoCubo has 99 million registered real estate brokers, which it aims to increase with the new funding.
