Mexican Airbag raised a $750K bridge round from Impacta VC, Grupo Flecha Amarilla, Carabela Ventures, and angel investors. This round brings Airbag’s total funding to over $1.5M.

Airbag helps transportation companies reduce fleet accidents with an app that monitors drivers, rewards safe behavior, and gives fleet managers clear insights into driver performance.

With the funds, Airbag will improve its platform and boost customer growth.

“We have confirmed our Product Market Fit (PMF) with over 200 clients and 8,000 users across two countries, but we need to further expand our impact and growth. This means not only reaching more customers and regions but also significantly improving our product to meet diverse customer needs and help them reduce both accidents and costs,” said Adrián Trucios, Airbag’s CEO and Cofounder.

Founded in 2020 by Adrián Trucios, Raúl Dávila, José Manuel Beauregard, and Alonso Guzmán, Airbag’s mission is to reduce the number of deaths caused by car accidents in Mexico, where car accidents rank as the seventh leading cause of death.
