Brazilian insurtech Azos raised a $30.5M Series B round led by Lightrock with participation from Kaszek, Prosus, Maya Capital, and Propel. The investment follows Azos’ $10M Series A round in 2021.

Azos offers customizable and easy-to-purchase life and health insurance policies, allowing customers to adjust coverage amounts and premium payments to fit their needs.

“Life insurance today is too complex for customers and takes more than a week for them to get a response (from the insurance company). What attracted us to investing in Azos was their delivery of a solution that makes access to the product easier and removes this bureaucracy,” said Marcos Wilson Pereira, Lightrock’s Head of Latin America.

Founded in 2020, Azos has over $10.5B in policies under management.
