Colombian startup Celes secured $1 million in seed funding to expand its sales team and develop its AI and analytics-driven solution for retail SMBs.
The round was led by Primeline Group, with additional funding from MatterScale, and Rockstart.
Celes aims to become an authentic “operating system” that analyzes and manages the vast data in the retail sector—transforming it into a source of cash flow rather than a technical challenge for businesses.
“Our goal is for this data to become a source of cash flow rather than an engineering challenge for companies. The investment round we just closed provides the necessary resources to accelerate our expansion and product development. With this momentum, we are getting closer to achieving the vision that has guided our efforts from the beginning,” said Celes’ CEO, Luis Almanza.
To date, over 400 POS and 3 million consumers across Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, and Ireland use Cele’s platform.
