FEN Ventures is raising its second fund, backed by Chilean development organization, CORFO, to keep investing in early-stage tech startups. The VC fund is aiming to raise US$21M in the near future to invest in Latin American startups.
This fund focuses on social impact and environmental conservation, as well as the viability of the business model. In the past, the fund has invested in startups in biotech, fintech, SaaS, and on-demand services, following market trends.
Some of the portfolio companies from Fund I include Levita Magnetics, Teart, and themidgame.
