Colombian fintech Plataform raises $3M in first investment round

Colombian fintech Plataform raised $3M in a funding round led by Skandia and Progresión Sociedad Comisionista de Bolsa.

With the funds, Plataform plans to expand its services for local businesses by introducing new offerings like bank factoring, private factoring, confirming, and crowd factoring.

“Having the support of  Skandia and Progresión will allow us to reach the entire business ecosystem, both SMEs and large chains and stores,” said Felipe Tascón, CEO of Plataform.

Founded in 2022, Plataform offers alternative financing services to Colombian businesses, providing immediate liquidity by negotiating their invoices.
