Brazilian tokenized credit platform Credix raised $60 million from undisclosed U.S. investors. With this funding, Credix will invest in growing across Latin America, aiming to achieve $100 million in short-term tokenized assets.
Credix will invest $7.5 million in fixed-income tokens for Brazilian SMEs, expanding its $30 million portfolio.
“The investment will help the company expand operations, generating risk-adjusted returns and, at the same time, promoting a positive social impact,” stated CEO Thomas Bohner.
Founded in 2021, Credix specializes in credit tokenization for professional investors and SMEs, with a focus on its SME customers.
