Emptor expands into Costa Rica and launches new service in Peru

LatamListEmptor, a leading security check startup, launched into Costa Rica as part of its regional expansion throughout Latin America. The company also launched a new service in Peru in conjunction with the recent Crediadulto certificate created by the Peruvian Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion during COVID-19.

Emptor is an automated background check, identity validation, and digital trust company in Latin America. The platform includes major companies such as Kavak, Rappi, Didi, and Beat in its portfolio.

With the addition of Costa Rica, Emptor is now available in eight countries across Latin America; Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, Ecuador, Chile, and Brazil. The company is also currently working on providing its full background solution in the country.

Additionally, companies in Peru will now be able to validate the Certiadulto certificate for employment. Created by the Peruvian Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion during COVID-19, the document aims to facilitate access to new job opportunities for people over 30 years old during the quarantine.

These new launches follow Emptor’s recent regional alliance with Cornershop, one of the largest on-demand grocery delivery platforms in Latin America.
