FACIA, the Bolivian collaborative security app that rewards users for connecting and protecting each other, raised $1M in a round led by Acelera Ventures.
The round will allow the startup to amplify the reach of its mobile app and functionalities in Bolivia, such as reporting suspicious situations, sharing information with neighbors, and accessing security resources in real time.
“We aim to strengthen security through cooperation and technology. This investment will let us develop solutions that make a difference in people’s lives”, said Hugo Córdova, CEO of FACIA.
The app uses AI algorithms to analyze and forecast real-time security patterns, providing fast and efficient responses to potential threats. Users can exchange data, promoting community cooperation to prevent incidents.
