Mexican fintech Fairplay raised a $35M credit line from BBVA Spark. The funding comes 18 months after securing a $100M credit line, and two years after their $35M Series A.
Fairplay provides flexible working capital solutions for wholesale and retail businesses, supporting both physical stores and e-commerce.
Fairplay will use the funds to further support Mexican SMEs, grow its presence in the retail sector, and expand into new industries.
“Increasing credit access is essential for Mexico’s business landscape. BBVA Spark is thrilled to support Fairplay in their mission to bring innovative credit solutions to Mexican SMEs with high growth potential,” said Rodrigo Velasco, Head of BBVA Spark in LATAM.
Founded in 2014, Fairplay’s client base of over 600 companies includes brands like Justo, Makora, and Macropay.
