Fanki secured a $6M seed round led by Broom Ventures and Tenacity Ventures. The startup will use the funds to further develop its online platform to close the gap between sports clubs and fans in Latin America.
“The sports industry is very basic. Unfortunately, we have lagged in technological scalability, starting with its ticketing system. We [Fanki] arrived to elevate the experience of both the fans and the clubs,” said Fanki’s CEO Tatiana Fontalvo.
Fanki offers a digital platform that allows sports organizations to budget, track their finances, generate reports, and provide new services to their fans through loyalty programs, benefits, and even personalized credit cards with custom designs and zero handling fees.
The company recently partnered with Club America and Celaya F.C., Mexican professional soccer clubs, and the World Boxing Council.
