Colombian fintech Finaktiva raised $10M in debt financing from BBVA Spark. The funding follows a $25M debt round Finaktiva raised in September 2022.
Finaktiva provides credit and cash flow tools for startups and SMEs, including factoring, confirming, loans, and real-time invoice and payment management.
Finaktiva will use the funds to scale its product offerings in Colombia and begin operations in Peru, where it already holds a local license.
“Access to capital is one of the main bottlenecks for SMEs in Latin America. We want to be part of the solution with technology, strategic alliances, and a long-term vision,” said Pablo Santos, CEO and co-founder of Finaktiva.
Founded in 2017, Finaktiva has financed more than $2.4B and holds a 30% share of Colombia’s factoring market. Its clients include Bavaria, Alpina, and Claro.
