Brazilian wellness startup Fully Ecosystem announced they have spun off from insurance company Prudential International, which has invested over $33M in Fully since 2021.
Fully Ecosystem started as an internal wellness initiative within Prudential in 2019 led by Aura Rebelo, the then VP of Marketing in the US, with the collaboration of British healthtech Vitality. In August 2024, Fully officially launched.
Fully Ecosystem is a wellness platform that guides customers through a personalized incentive journey, helping users achieve goals with programs for physical activity, stress management, and guided meditation, offering rewards that can be redeemed for vouchers in various affiliate stores.
Prudential has invested $33M in Fully over the last three years. Now spun out, Fully Ecosystem plans to expand in Latin America, hire new people, and enhance its technology.
“In Latin America, there are issues of low insurance penetration (…) in all countries. Brazil leads as the world’s most anxious country, with 18% of the adult population experiencing anxiety. Meanwhile, Mexico has the highest rate of physical inactivity in the region,” said Aura Rebelo, Fully’s CEO.
Fully serves over 60K end customers in Brazil and Argentina.
