Glitzi secured $2.8M in a venture round led by Act One Ventures, Y Combinator, Goodwater Capital, and Gaingels. The company will use the money to expand to three more cities in Mexico and broaden its services to establish itself as the country’s leading at-home beauty and spa platform.
“Our vision is to facilitate the access to beauty services and allow professionals to manage their own time and take the ownership of their income,” said Glitzi’s CEO, Ana Ramos.
Glitzi is a platform that provides at-home beauty services, connecting customers with a network of over-specialized professionals.
Ana Ramos, Luis Vázquez, and Leonel Campos founded Glitzi in 2019 to help beauty professionals to launch and successfully manage their own business. The platform is available in Mexico City, Queretaro, and Monterrey, with 700 registered contractors and over 170K services booked through the app.
