Brazilian insurtech Hero Seguros raised $7M in its first funding round, led by Headline XP with participation from Actyus. Part of the round included a secondary transaction allowing investors to acquire shares from the founding partners.
Hero Seguros distributes insurance products through a B2B2C model, partnering with financial and tourism companies. It also works with a network of more than 5,000 agencies and brokers. Its platform integrates product development, distribution, and customer service, including claims and assistance through its Hero Assist unit.
Hero Seguros will use the funds to expand across Latin America and invest in technology and data. Hero Seguros also plans to broaden its product offerings and strengthen its position as an insurance platform.
Founded in 2022, Hero Seguros has surpassed 4 million insured customers, including 1.8 million added in 2025.
