LatamList – La Haus, a leading proptech in Mexico and Colombia, raised a $35M Series B funding round led by GreenSpring Associates. Hometeam Ventures also contributed to the round.
La Haus is an end-to-end marketplace for real estate, aimed at facilitating the process of buying and selling homes in Latin America by creating a digital platform with online transactions. The startup has so far facilitated around 4,000 transactions, more than any other proptech in Mexico or Colombia.
“For most people, homeownership is key for the creation of wealth and stability. Before now, it’s been out of reach for many Mexicans and Colombians. We’re excited to use this funding to bring this opportunity to more people across Latin America,” said Rodrigo Sánchez-Ríos, co-founder of La Haus.
The digital nature of the platform allowed La Haus to continue helping sellers and developers sell their houses online during the global pandemic. Consequently, the startup has grown significantly despite the economic difficulties of the region and raised a $10M Series A in January from investors such as Kaszek Ventures and Acrew Capital.
The new funding will enable the startup to expand within Latin America and develop its product and services.
