Launches

  1. Chilean payments startup ProntoPaga launched a solution in Peru that allows its customers to reduce payout times by over 90%. Read more on LatamFintech Hub.
  2. Blooms, a Mexican fintech providing financial services for fruits and vegetables exporters, launched a platform to offer credit to its customers. Blooms also partnered with Monex USA to offer payments and FX solutions to exporters. Read more on LatamFintech Hub.

Partnerships

  1. Brazilian payments startup PagBrasil partnered with Wipay and Paybyrd to offer Pix in Spain, Portugal, and the Netherlands, allowing Brazilian customers to pay with Pix in Europe. Read more on LatamFintech Hub.

Expansions

  1. Prex, a Uruguayan payments startup offering prepaid cards and accounts in both US Dollars and local currency, announced its expansion to Chile. Read more on LatamFintech Hub.

Other

  1. Norte Media, which launches and operates brands from influencers, raised $180K from angel investors to co-create a new company with Brazilian influencer Malu Borges. This is part of Norte Media’s goal to create 6 new brands in the next 3 years. Read more on Startupi.
