Brazil-based edtech Layers raised $3.9M in a pre-Series A round led by Canadian fund Constellation CSI, bringing its valuation to $22.5M.
Layers integrates digital tools for schools into a single platform. The platform connects schools, families, and edtech providers to improve communication and efficiency.
Layers will use the funds to accelerate growth, double its size within two years, and expand further into Latin America, where it already operates in Mexico and Argentina.
Layers serves more than 9,000 public and private institutions and reaches 3.5 million students. In March 2025, it partnered with Clever, the world’s largest educational platform, adding 4,000 international edtechs to schools in Brazil and Latin America.
