Lipigas invests $13.4M in Rocktruck and acquires 70%

Lipigas, a Chilean gas company, invested $13.4M in logistics startup Rocktruck to acquire 70% of the company. This funding will help expand Lipigas’ digital and logistical operations by 2030.

Rocktruck, launched in late 2018, reached more than $14M in annual sales in four years without any venture capital investment.

“The $13.4M investment will be channeled into expanding client relations, embracing electromobility, and further international outreach,” said Eduardo Segovia, Rocktruck’s CEO.

Rocktruck, now in Peru and Colombia, has a team of over 100 and a fleet of 600 vehicles, including 61 trucks which cover 2 million km each month.
