LatamList – Nowports, a logistics startup, raised a $16M Series A funding round led by Mouro Capital. Foundation Capital, Broadhaven Ventures, Monashees, Base10 Partners, and Y Combinator also participated in the round.
Nowports is a digital delivery management platform that is reinventing the delivery system with smart technology, transparency, and efficiency. The platform provides tools for monitoring shipments, tracking the delivery, and financial information to help companies optimize their delivery.
“Nowports bring transparency and technology to its clients across the world, and we are looking forward to working with them to accelerate their growth and business,” said Christopher Gottschalk, Senior Advisor at Mouro Capital.
The startup currently operates in Mexico, Chile, Colombia, and Uruguay, connecting Latin America with the rest of the world. To date, Nowports has raised $26M in funding.
With the new investment, Nowports will expand operations with transport routes from Asia and the US to Latin America, as well as increasing its product offering to include financial services. The startup is also looking to open offices in China to facilitate the expansion.
