LatAm List – As a nod to Google’s parent company, Alphabet Inc., Movile’s CEO Fabrício Bloisi told Estadao that the company aims to be the ‘Brazilian Alphabet’:
“It’s a small thought to talk about unicorns. Brazil has room to have $100B in tech companies, as in the US and China. It may take time to reach our goal, but the weapons to get there are in place: rapid innovation and developed home-made technology- in particular- AI,” elaborated Bloisi.
Movile is recognized for being the owner of iFood, but their portfolio of business is much more vast. The unicorn transacts $1B per month, has 350 million users worldwide and an average growth of 70% year on year.
