Uruguayan startup Mozart raised a $600K Pre-seed round led by Orbit Ventures, with participation from Picante VC and angel investors from Uruguay, Brazil, and Paraguay.
Mozart developed a conversational AI platform that helps companies recover debt through virtual agents that negotiate with debtors in real time. The platform analyzes tone and sentiment during conversations and learns from each interaction without human intervention. Clients can upload a debt portfolio via a spreadsheet and deploy the system in under 30 minutes.
Mozart will use the capital to expand commercial operations in Brazil and Mexico, invest in proprietary machine learning models and infrastructure, and enter new markets in Southeast Asia and Africa through Orbit Ventures’ network. Mozart also plans to expand into the United States and Europe through accelerator programs in Spain, Portugal, and France.
Founded in 2024, Mozart serves more than 50 corporate clients, including Bancolombia, BBVA, Santander, and Shopee. The company operates in 15 countries across Latin America and Europe and employs 19 people in Uruguay.
