Nowports raises additional $8M for Brazil expansion

Nowports, a logistics platform, raised an additional $8M funding for Series A from Justin Mateen, Andy Shah, and others. The total Series A funding comes to $24M with the $16M raised in July.

Nowports is a digital logistics solution operating in Mexico, Chile, Colombia, and Peru. The platform provides shipment monitoring, delivery tracking, access to financial information, among other features to help companies optimize delivery processes.

The company’s total funding stands at $32M.

With the new funding Nowports will launch in Brazil, which is the South American country with the most trade and where Port of Santos, a leader in maritime trade according to ECLAC, is located. The startup aims to expand its customers to 100 retailers in the next 18 months, with potential to also launch into Argentina and Panama.
