LatamList – Rappi, the Colombian unicorn, announced the launch of Rappi Travel and RappiBank. The new launches confirm Rappi’s status as a SuperApp.
RappiBank is fully integrated into the platform that will connect a client’s finances with the user data to help them manage bills, purchases, and loans facilitated through the platform. The launch is considered to be competing with the recent launch of PedidosYa Pay by Rappi’s main competitor, PedidosYa.
The financial services are now available in Colombia, Mexico, and Peru, and will soon be available in Brazil.
Rappi Travel is a new service that allows customers to reserve flights to any destination through the Rappi app. Rappi customers will have access to exclusive discounts, as well as travel insurance, tourist trips, car rental, and more.
“We are constantly looking for new innovative solutions for our users. With Rappi Travel we want to help support and rejuvenate the tourism sector this year,” said Matías Casoy, General Manager of Rappi.
Rappi Travel also offers travel insurance coverage for COVID-19.
With the two new launches, Rappi offers services from food delivery, online shopping, banking, travel, and more.
