Israeli unicorn Rapyd acquired PayU to scale its global fintech platform and prepare for its IPO.
Rapyd is a fintech-as-a-service (FaaS) platform that provides a wide range of fintech solutions to B2B clients like card issuing, digital wallets, payment processing, APIs for online payments, and payroll solutions. PayU is one of the leading payment processors in emerging markets, operating in over 30 countries.
With this acquisition, Rapyd has reached +250,000 customers worldwide, with a presence in over 41 countries and a network of 1,200 payment providers.
