Revelo raises $15M from IFC

LatAm ListRevelo, a Sao Paulo based startup that provides online recruiting solutions using machine learning, recently raised $15M (R$70M) in a Series B round led by the IFC, the investment arm of the World Bank.

FJLabs, Dalus Capital, Valor Capital Group, and Seek also participated in this round, which is the largest raised by an HR tech startup in Latin America, and the first Series B in that sector.

Revelo uses artificial intelligence to hire more efficiently in high-demand careers such as finance, software development, design, online marketing and management consulting.

“Most knowledge workers in LatAm still find their jobs offline. Our goal is to become a go-to online platform to help them navigate their careers,” said Lucas Mendes, co-founder of Revelo.

Using Revelo, companies are able to fill their knowledge-worker roles in an average of 14 days, which is 5 times faster than with offline recruiters, and at 20% of the cost.

Revelo has over 3000 companies as users, almost 1M candidates, and 100 employees in Sao Paulo.
