Mexican wellness startup Scape announced its expansion to Colombia. The company started operations in Bogotá and Medellín and plans to expand soon to Cartagena, Cali, and Barranquilla.

Scape is an app that enables users to book at-home spa services. The company recently introduced two new B2B divisions, offering employee wellness plans to businesses and hotel spa services.

Helle Jeppson and José de Murga founded Scape in 2019 to enhance the work conditions of wellness professionals across Latin America.

“There is a significant lack of innovation in the wellness industry. The traditional spa model is not cost-effective, and therapists face limited job opportunities. We are creating an on-demand platform that operates every day of the year to increase therapists’ earnings by fivefold,” said Helle Jeppsson, CEO and Co-founder of Scape.

Since its founding, the company has built a network of over 1,000 wellness professionals who have completed more than 85,000 services in 25 cities in Mexico.
