The Mexican startup, SCAPE, raised $1.3M in an over-subscribed funding round. Notable VC firms and angel investors, including Amplifica Capital, Daedalus Ventures, and Seed9, participated in the round.
Part of the newly acquired funds will help SCAPE strengthen its presence in Mexico and Colombia while expanding its services to Chile and the Dominican Republic. The company will further develop its B2B wellness program offerings for Lululemon, Adidas, and Nike employees.
“…companies in Mexico are becoming increasingly concerned about the mental health and stress management of their employees, which promotes the care of mental health and well-being in the workplace, as well as fostering a favorable social environment at work,” added Helle Jeppsson, SCAPE’s co-founder and CEO.
SCAPE has delivered over 85,000 services and operates in 25 cities in Mexico and four in Colombia. The company aims to reach $6 million in revenue by the end of 2023.
