Brazilian SaaS company Starian raised $115M from General Atlantic.
Starian emerged as a spin-off from Softplan, focusing on creating vertical software ecosystems. Starian acquires specialized businesses in construction, legal services, and operational efficiency, integrating them into end-to-end solutions.
Starian will use the funds to acquire companies and launch new business units.
“Now, with full autonomy and General Atlantic’s capital and global expertise, we can strengthen the verticals where we already lead and move into new high-potential sectors,” said Ionan Fernandes, CEO of Starian.
Starian serves over 16K private sector clients with products like Sienge, Checklist Fácil, and Projuris. Softplan continues to operate independently, serving the public sector.
