Brazilian car rental startup Turbi raised a $8.5M round led by Domo.vc. Reag Investimentos and Carbyne Investimentos also participated in the round.
Turbi will use the funds to build a one-stop car shop for customers. This marks the second round of funding in 2024, complementing the $16.5M raised in January to expand its fleet by 1,000 vehicles.
“This new capital comes at the ideal time to structure our own used car sales network, which will transform Turbi into a one-stop car shop for our customers, whether for a short-term rental for hours, daily rentals, an annual subscription, or even purchasing our vehicles,” said Daniel Prado, Co-founder of Turbi.
Founded in 2017, Turbi offers a fully digital car rental service available 24/7. It features a subscription plan for flexible car rentals spanning days, weeks, months, or even years.
