The government of Uruguay and an international consortium led by the Israeli VC OurCrowd launched OurCrowd LATAM Labs, an accelerator program. Uruguay Innovation Hub selected OurCrowd to lead the accelerator program’s operations, supported by Ingenio, the University of ORT’s Innovation Center, and Mana Tech.
OurCrowd Latam offers early-stage startups up to $300K in funding, a year-long mentorship, and access to OurCrowd’s network.
There are over 1,000 startups in Uruguay and the launch of the accelerator is part of the plan to establish the country as a tech and innovation hub.
