TIM partners with C6 Bank to offer financial and telecommunication services

LatAm ListC6, a Brazilian neobank, recently partnered with one of Brazil’s fastest-growing mobile phone companies, TIM. This strategic alliance will include a joint offer of financial and telecommunication services. This partnership will mark TIM’s arrival in the finance sector.

The integrated offer will be launched later this year with a potential audience of around 55M TIM users and new customers, that will be able to count on special benefits and both companies’ services.

“Once again, TIM innovates and forms a partnership with one of the largest digital banks in Brazil, with the goal of offering maximum benefit to the entire customer base, including also non-bank customers, a group including 45 million Brazilians, today,” explained Renato Ciuchini, Head of Strategy and Transformation at TIM.

Officially launched in August 2019, C6 operates without physical branches and already offers a wide variety of products to its 1.5M customers. In addition to the basic features, the bank offers a free toll tag (C6 Taggy), an international dollar account, SMS transfers (C6 Kick), securities, funds, and personal credit.

“The business means an integration of two segments, financial services, and telecommunication, with great synergy. Based on the evolution of user behavior, it will be possible to expand our offer of customized services,” said Tiago Galli, head of Telecom Partnerships at C6 Bank.
