Y Combinator to host interviews in Brazil for 2020 Summer Cohort

LatAm List YCombinator, the Silicon Valley-based accelerator program, has announced that it will be holding interviews in Brazil specifically for Latin American startups.

The accelerator program offers early-stage funding to startups alongside their 12-week program where companies have access to business training from some of the most experienced experts in the field. Y Combinator has supported over 2,000 companies through its bi-annual programs.

The interviews are to be held in São Paulo, Brazil,  from May 16th-18th and will follow the same process as regular Y Combinator interviews. The deadline for applications is March 16th, and successful companies will be accepted in the Summer 2020 batch immediately, which starts in June.

Y Combinator aims to bring more Latin American companies into its accelerator program by facilitating interviews in Brazil. In previous batches, companies such as Rappi, Brex, and Quero Education have become successful graduates and received funding. The program has also supported many early-stage startups, such as Ubits and Moons.
