12 LatAm startups selected for the Google for Startups Accelerator

LatamListGoogle for Startups Accelerator LatAm announced the 12 companies in Argentina, Mexico and Colombia that were selected for Summer 2020.

The 3-month program started on June 29th and is conducted completely virtually. The 12 selected startups stand out for their talent and ability to create world-class solutions to problems in the region from more than 230 companies that applied.

This edition will have a section dedicated to sharing the best practices of remote work, given the urgency of these issues in the midst of the pandemic crisis.

Another important challenge is to provide entrepreneurs with the same networking opportunities offered by the face-to-face program. Entrepreneurs will have opportunities for networking and mentoring to build contacts.

The program will allow entrepreneurs to learn from the best, scale their products, overcome technological challenges and establish connections with entrepreneurship networks in the region and in Silicon Valley, in order to become agents of change and innovation in the ecosystem of Latin America.

The companies operate in retail, education, banking and finance, professional services, health, and biotechnology markets.

At the end of the program, these startups will be part of the prestigious international alumni group of Google Launchpad Accelerator, where they will join other global Latin American companies such as Quinto Andar, Portal Telemedicina, Creditas, Platzi, Konfio, Ualá, La Haus, ComparaOnline, Tienda Nube and Miroculus, among others.
