Spanish delivery app, Glovo, promises to deliver anything to your door in under 60 minutes. Inspired by the on-demand economy popularized by Airbnb and Uber, Glovo founder Oscar Pierre created the app to help people solve their everyday problems.
Glovo recently launched operations in Buenos Aires, in a campaign that Pierre hopes will reach more than 30 cities in Latin America. Glovo already operates in Chile, Peru, and Bolivia, as well as in numerous cities in Spain, France, Italy, and Portugal.

Glovo will compete with a growing number of delivery services in Latin America, including Rappi, PedidosYa, Mercadoni, and Cornershop.
Since it was founded in 2015, Glovo has had over 2 million downloads and 500,000 monthly orders. Glovo raised a US$30M round to finance its expansion to Latin America.
