Chilean startup Lolocar expanded its car rental platform to Uruguay as part of its growth strategy.
“We encounter ourselves in a strategic phase of growth and have scheduled our first round to December of this year, projected between $300K and $600K, which will be used to enhance the platform, position the company in Uruguay and push the expansion to other countries: Colombia, Peru, and Brazil,” said Felipe Ortuzar, Lolocar’s Co-Founder and Head of Growth.
Lolocar is a car rental platform in which customers can not only rent cars but also register their vehicles to be rented by other customers.
Founded in 2021, the carsharing company has recorded 2,500 days of rental to date, has 250 vehicles in Chile available to rent, and more than 3,000 app downloads.
