Colombian fintech Kuadra started operations in Ecuador through the deployment of pilot projects. This expansion was possible after winning Netlife’s corporate venture capital initiative program XCALIFE, an equity-free investment program focused on testing products in Ecuador.
This move is part of Kuadra’s expansion plan, aiming to get 5,000 paid clients before raising capital.
“We won a competition in Latin America, competing against hundreds of startups. Now, we’re in a pilot project phase, planning to introduce Kuadra to Netlife’s 55,000 PME clients,” said Daniel Acevedo Hernández, Co-Founder and CEO of Kuadra.
Kuadra is an all-in-one platform that provides PME clients with administration tools, as well as access to microcredit and financing.
The fintech serves 6,000 clients, 750 of whom are paid.
