The Chilean startup Acústica Marina introduced its AI-driven marine noise monitoring system to Peru to detect and control illegal fishing and drug trafficking and preserve marine life.
Founded in 2020, Acústica Marina focuses on measuring and addressing underwater sound pollution.
The startup also collaborated with the petroleum industry in Peru, and they signed research agreements in Panama.
