Vaki has landed in Mexico, aiming to improve and democratize collaborative funding.
“We believe in the power of people to unite and solve their problems with no need for government or corporate donations,” said Vaki’s CEO Nicolas Contreras.
Vaki is a crowdfunding platform for social, political, and scientific projects that streamlines the fundraising process and makes donations accessible for everyone by allowing donations as low as $1. Over 400,000 individuals have contributed over $11M to different causes through the platform.
Red Independiente, the company’s crowdfunding campaign, is the largest in Latin America. The campaign has received $1.1 million in contributions from 23,000 Vakers.
