Colombian fintech DRUO landed in Mexico. The company offers a B2B payment system that allows businesses to send and receive payments directly from their accounts without intermediaries.
Simon Pinilla, cofounder of DRUO, will lead the expansion. Pinilla has participated in startup expansions across Latin America, including Uber, SumUp, and Tembici in Colombia.
“This expansion is crucial to continue transforming the payments ecosystem. I’m confident Simón will effectively introduce our offerings in Mexico and establish an effective expansion model,” said DRUO’s CEO and Co-founder, Alejandro Pinzón.
The company plans to reach $30M in revenue in its first six months of operations in Mexico.
