Cubbo, an ecommerce fulfillment platform that currently operates in Mexico and Colombia acquired DedaLog, a competitor startup based in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This news comes after the fulfillment company raised $4M seed round in November 2021.

Cubbo didn’t disclose the amount of the transaction, but the acquisition of DedaLog seeks to strengthen its presence in the Brazilian market.

Cubbo’s software integrates with platforms such as Shopify, VTEX and Mercado Libre to make direct shipments to latinamerican consumers.

The company currently has a team of 35 people, as well as 4 warehouses, 2 located in Sao Paulo, one in Bogotá, Colombia and the other in Mexico City. In addition, Cubbo plans to open four new collection centers in the short term, the first in Rio de Janeiro, as well as two others in Sao Paulo and one in Bogota.

To be able to keep low costs, Cubbo only handles non-perishable products, no larger than a shoe box, like cosmetics, and they have partnered with companies like 99 Minutos for last-mile deliveries.

We talked with Brian York, Co-Founder and CEO of Cubbo, back in November. You can listen to the interview in the link.
