LatAm List – Google seeks to fuel innovation in the Latin American ecosystem through its Launchpad Accelerator in Mexico. In collaboration with Centraal, a Mexican coworking space, the accelerator focuses on helping startups create appealing, scalable, and impactful products and technologies by providing equity-free support.
Google recognizes that tech development is essential in guaranteeing a startup’s success which is why the program provides knowledge on the use of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Android, Google Cloud Platform, and web solutions (Progressive Web Apps, Accelerated Mobile Pages, among others).
The program lasts three months and offers the entrepreneurs ongoing tech support for their project. Along with access to a group of mentors made up of Google and market experts, the participants will also receive US$20 thousand in Google credit, and early access to the company’s new technologies.
Google’s program has already been implemented in other parts of the world like Israel, Japan, Nigeria, and Brazil.
Registration is now open until March 15th, and can be found here. The selected startups will be announced on March 21st and will begin working with Google on April 29th of this year.
